breathe in, breathe out

Try Rhythmic Exhalation

One of the easiest ways to improve wellbeing is through breathing. This rapid rhythimic breathing technique (known as Breath of Fire) is used in yoga and is helpful in morning exercise. "It cleanses the blood by removing toxins and helps strengthen the nervous system. Sit straight with your hands in the prayer position and close you eyes. Inhale, letting your lower abdomen relax - this will automatically allow your lungs to expand and fill with air. Pull your navel backwards towards your spine and exhale. Practice this movement - it will pull your diaphragm down, causing you to breath out. Speed up your inhalation and exhalation a bit like you're sniffing, until you get into a comfortable rhythm. Do this breathing exercise for two minutes." Maya Fiennes
